| I: Factory Operation Licenses & Provisional
Industrial Register I: - Document
Requirements:
1- 2 copies of the application form,
subject to presidential decree 350/2005, to be filled by the
investor (upon checking of originals by the City authority).A copy
shall be maintained in the transaction file and the second shall
be dispatched, along with inspection application, to IDA.
2- Copy of allocation notice-land
takeover report-building license.
3- Building license department report of
non building violations, necessitating demolition.
4- 3 copies of building layout drawings,
plans, showing production lines, locations of licensed Engineer
approved machines.
5- Articles of association, Journal of
companies/Investment/Official Events, in case of Joint Stock
/Limited Liability Companies.
6- Copy of commercial register-tax card-
identification document.
7- Workers registration certificate in
Social Insurance Authority.
8- Facility membership certificate in
Industries Association.
9- Syndicate / government approved
consultant certificate of the building construction compliance
with the fire and industrial safety precautionary measures.
10- Final IDA approval for the project.
11- IDA approval for the issue of
provisional industrial register, on being notified by the entity,
referred to in (4) (b) hereinafter of the operation license
measures.
II: - Required Fees: - (Submission of
relevant Payment Papers)
1. Licensing-Cleanliness-Resources
Development): to be collected and evaluated by the City
Authority's competent officials.
2. Subsidy of educational projects (law
227/1989).
3. Standard fees of provisional
industrial register ( for IDA) , to Pobox 509,People's Assembly
post as follows:-

LE 500, 4(Five Hundred Pounds and forty
piaster), for the first issue.
·
LE1000.4(One thousand pounds and forty
piaster) for renewal.
NB: No industrial license fees are collected
for Social Development Fund submitted projects, having national code
number ,subject to law 141/2004).
Licensing Measures:-
1- Filling of all (I) mentioned
documents.
2- Payment of all (II) required fees.
3- Final approvals of competent
authorities.
4- Factory inspection for license
approval.
a- Notice , by the City Authority to IDA,
enclosing the application form.
b- Reply shall be written on the approval
form (copy attached ).
| Applicant shall receive a provisional
operation license & industrial register for one year, renewable
twice for a maximum six month |

II: License of Commercial Stores:
I: Document Requirements
1- Approved copy of handover report.
2- License application form.(from License
Department).
3- 3 copies of approved Engineering
drawings, showing the plan-supplies- elevation& section
–sanitation and electricity works).
4- Copy of the executing company approved
store's market layout, showing the store number .
5- Copy of owner's ID and proxy (if any).
6- Copy of articles of association( if
allocated for a company).
7- Financial situation & store price.
8- Report of compliance , by a letter of
license Department ,in case the activity is related to food, male
/female hair dressing .
9- Criminal discharge certificate of
owner( in case it is a public store).
10- Copy of health certificates for
workers in the following activities:
(Public store-food-male& female hair
dressing).
11- Civil Defense& Fire Department
approvals
12- Industrial Safety approval in case of
public store(restaurant-cafeteria-café)
