generation cities and established by Cabinet decree 1237/1982.
It lies at
Sharkiya governorate, north east of zagazig city, west of Ismailia
governorate on Kassaseen – Portsaid road, 7 Km north of Ismailia
canal – 110 Km far from Cairo – 90 from Suez – 90 from Portsaid, 120
from Damietta port -40 from Ismailia and 50 from Zagazig.
The city is connected with other cities through :

bus, connecting the city with Cairo and Fakous
