Water :

The city is provided with drinking water by :

Northern well plant (35 thousand M3/d).

Southern well plant (4 thousand M3/d).

Potable water treatment plant , first stage   ( 100 M3/d ).

Length of finished networks: 702 Km.

Waste Water :

Construction of two oxidization ponds (45 thousand M3/d ).

Preparation of a mechanical treatment plant (discharge of 10 thousand M3/d )

20 thousand m 3 / day bilateral treatment and 20 thousand m 3 / day trilogy treatment will be implemented.

Total length of finished networks : 550 Km.

Total potable water & sanitary drainage investments = LE 621 M

Electricity :

3 electricity stations with the capacity of 275 M.F.A.

Total length of finished networks    : 3238   Km.

Total investments = LE 391 M

Roads & Communications:

The city has 3 main entrances : industrial- residential- regional.

Construction of main telephone center with the capacity of 40 thousand lines expected to reach 60 thousand lines.

Total length of Road networks :   361 Km

Total length of communication networks: 586 Km.

Alsadat Menouf railway station with the length of 38 Km. is being implemented.

Total investment = LE 388 M.
