Utilities Water  : The city is fed by drinking water  by Water treatment plant(268000 M3/d) and Sheikh Zaied treatment plant. The first stage of Water treatment plant(400 thousand M3/d) is being implemented. Total length of finished networks,1584 Km. Waste Water :   Completion of mechanical treatment plant,100 thousand M3/d . Completion of oxidization ponds,15 thousand M3/d. Treatment plant(100 thousand  M3/d) is being implemented. Extension of the current treatment plant (50 thousand M3/d) is being implemented. Development of the current treatment plant to produce tri-treated water  is being implemented. Total length of finished SD networks, 1019 Km. Electricity : Completion of 3 convertor stations(450M.F.A). Total length of finished networks 7110Km. Roads & Communications: Total length of finished Road networks 1320 Km. Total length of communication networks 1845 Km . Total utilities investments = LE 5.1 Billion
