Residential Activity Total area 26.5 thousand feddans, divided into districts including all housing (economic – medium – above medium – luxury) categories. Housing units: 497 thousand housing units have been implemented of which 80 thousand housing units implemented by New Urban Communities Authority at different levels including : 23 thousand economic housing units 21 thousand medium housing units 385 housing units (villas) 36 thousand housing units (national housing- family house-the most urgent cases) Total investments = LE 2.8  billion. In addition to  417 thousand housing units implemented by  non- governmental sector  and other sectors (individuals- Build your Own House) Housing plots Provision of plots for individuals, investment companies, residential resorts and the pioneering (Mobarak – Future – free housing – family housing ) projects . Plots for individuals (Villas – Apartment buildings ) have been allocated  at a total area of 22 thousand plots of 2126 acres to build4744 residential villas and 17313 apartment buildings. Plots have been allocated to investors (residential-service-recreational) at a total area of 12 thousand  acres .
