It is one of the first generation cities. and
was established by presidential decree (504/1979). It lies in a
physically and environmentally unique position, closely related with
the tourist Pyramid area (17 Km far), 32 Km from Cairo downtown
and connected with Cairo via 26 of July corridor.
The city is connected with other cities through:
Greater Cairo commuting Cairo and Giza.
East and central Delta Co. buses
commuting Monofiya and Gharbiya.
Upper Egypt buses commuting Giza and
Sohag.

Giza.
