It is one of the
Third generation cities and was established by presidential decree (193/2000).
It lies west of Cairo – Assuit eastern road , 100 Km far
from south Cairo – 15-40 far from Fayoum and Banisweif Cities
respectively.
The city is connected with other cities through:
