Residential Activity The area of the residential activity is 1.9 thousand feddans, divided into number of districts including all housing categories (Economic – medium – above medium – luxury). Housing units : 42 thousand housing units have been implemented of which 22 thousand housing units implemented by New Urban Communities Authority at different levels including : 5660 economic housing units 2410 medium housing units 404 above medium housing units 6114 youth housing units 5100 national housing units Total investments = LE 2.5 billion. Non governmental sector construction of 20 thousand housing units. Housing plots : NUCA provides housing plots to individuals, investment corporations, residential resorts and pioneering projects ,…ie – Mobarak youth housing – Mostakbal Free housing and family housing ) Plots for individuals (Villas - Real Estate) have been allocated  at a total area of 9717 plots of 611 acres .  Plots have been allocated to investors (residential-service-recreational).
