Utilities

Water :

The city is fed from the treatment plant of Alobour city . the city has (360 thousand m 3 / day) of water through 3 cranes ( 3-4-5) on the ring road . water is provided by carrying lines from crane 3 to crane at a length of 15km of double diameters (1200 - 1400) Pumping plant( 1) feeds part of the city networks and carries water to pumping plant (2), which feeds the south-east of the city.

Purification plant with the capacity of(15 thousand m 3 / day) -Suez Road-the first district.

WasteWater:

Pumping drainage (capacity of 50 thousand m 3 / day) has been implemented to drain water to the rock tunnel .

Water Treatment plant (capacity of 2000 m 3 / day) on the ring road to accommodate wastewater from the West used water to irrigate golf green belt west of the Ring Road and will be indispensable after the implementation of the last solution to the sewage network in golf.It is expected to be finished by2011.

Water treatment plant( 5000 m 3 / day) on Katameya- Ain Sukhna road to be used to irrigate the Green Belt on Katameya road and Tree Forest of an area of 350 acres south of the road.

Water Treatment plant ( 2000 m 3 / day ) of Katameya Golf .

Water treatment plant (100 thousand m 3 / day) on Al Ain Sukhna- Katameya investment road.It is partially operated now and expected to be finished by2011.

Total quantity of wastewater is 80 000 m 3 of which 40 thousand m 3 is pumped to the Rock Area and the other 40 thousand m 3 is treated and pumped to irrigate the green areas of the Green Belt on Katameya- Ain Sukhna Ring Road and extension of investors areas (Almirag-Alrehab-Golf-American university)

Electricity :

The city is fed with electricity through 4 power stations with total capacity of (400 MVA) as following:

1-The Third District Power station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA . consumption capacity is 72 M V A.
2- The First District Power plant with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA . consumption capacity is 50 M V A.
3- Rehab power station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA . consumption capacity is 26 M V A.
4- New Cairo power station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA .consumption capacity is 20 M V A.

Total consumption energy 168 m. P. A .

Future stations are being implemented to cover the future needs of the city .They are :
1-Alnarjs power station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA .
2- Industrial zone power station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA .
3 - South of Academy Power Station with the capacity of 4 × 25 MVA.

Roads & Communications:

Total road length 1250 km .

Total main roads length 240 km .

Total feeder roads length 1010 km .

The city is fed telephone network through 4 telephone centers as the following :
1 - The First District Centre with the capacity of 60: 120 thousand lines.
2- The Fifth District Centre with the capacity of 80: 120 thousand lines .
3- The Third District Centre with the capacity: 60- 120 thousand lines .
4- South Investors Centre with the capacity of 80: 120 thousand lines .

3 Centres are being implemented to cover the needs of the city as the following :
1- North investors Centre with the capacity of 60: 80 thousand lines .
2- Downtown center with the capacity of 60: 170 thousand lines
3- Industrial Zone Centre with the capacity of 60 thousand lines .
