The city is fed with
water from Mariot canal feeding from Nubariya canal.

Purification water
plant has been constructed ,so the total allocated water to the
city is 166 thousand m 3 / day as a first and second stages.

Implementation of the
top water tank (Capacity of 2000 m 3) and ground tanks (Capacity
of 13000m3) under it.
-
Implementation of
ground tanks at Alrafaa Plant (Capacity of 12 000 m).
WasteWater
:

Implementation of sewage pipes networks with the total length of
562 km.
-
Establishment of sewage treatment plant with a
capacity of 36 thousand m 3, and being upgraded to up to 100
thousand m 3.

Establishment of expulsion pipelines and pumping
plant s for the first district and industrial areas with the total length of 29.97 km .
-
Implementation of the rest of the sewage networks of
the seventh district and the second phase of the second and third
districts are running with the total length of 27.5 km.

Implementation of the tri-treatment plant (first
phase) is running with the capacity of 115 thousand m 3.
Electricity :
-
Establishment of
networks ( 1425 km), electrical cables , 16 electricity
distributors and 267 electrical converter stalls.

Establishment of city
entrance lighting network ( electrical cables with total length of
19.1 km and 6 converter stalls) .
Roads & Communications
:
Utilities Total investments : LE 1.2 Billion.
