Area of service activities 2.5 thousand feddans , urban planning has provided plots for various activities ( educational – health- cultural – religious – recreational commercial) .

121 service buildings has been implemented , including:

First : Educational Services
Schools:

6 schools (governmental – private) with total number of 4530 students in various educational levels.

Universities

Russian University which includes faculties of engineering and pharmacy with total number of 1349 students .

Future university : under construction.

The electronic university for distance learning under construction .

Second : Medical Services:

Badr general hospital was opened and inaugurated on 19/04/2010 by the Prime Minister with a total number of 100 beds and outpatient clinics, intensive care, emergency department and the Department of nephrology and medical staff specialist .

Third: recreational Services:

The city has a number of sports clubs and a Youth Center where there is (swimming pool + gym + Library + Billiard + Stadium Quintet also has sporting and social activities ) .
